Preparing Future Leaders Through Academics
The International High School of Portland offers a challenging and comprehensive academic program for college-bound students who wish to become discerning and compassionate thinkers, life-long learners and leaders in tomorrow’s world. The internationally focused curriculum includes a continuum of instruction for all students in grades 9 through 12. Successful completion of the fully integrated program leads to attainment of the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma and fluency in at least one language other than English. At IHS Portland, students are intellectually, socially and culturally prepared to thrive in an ever-changing and complex world.
